At Rampietify (Pty) Ltd, we are committed to delivering an efficient, transparent, and seamless delivery experience to all our valued customers across South Africa and beyond. This Delivery Policy outlines important information regarding shipping, delivery times, and customer responsibilities.

1. Delivery Charges and Checkout Transparency

All delivery costs within South Africa are fully disclosed during the online checkout process. There are no surprise VAT charges or hidden customs fees—everything is included in your cart total at checkout.

Where available, customers may also choose to collect their orders directly from our designated Rampietify collection address, as specified during the order process.

2. Delivery Timelines

We strive to ensure that all orders are delivered within the estimated time frames. However, delivery time may vary based on:

  • Size and quantity of your order
  • Location of the delivery address
  • Availability of stock or product category (e.g., pre-orders)

Should any delay be anticipated, you will be notified, and the revised delivery schedule will override the initial estimate provided at checkout or in your confirmation email.

3. Shipping Costs and Customer Approval

While initial shipping costs are provided as estimates during the order process, the final amount may be adjusted based on the specifics of your order. If there is a difference, Rampietify will issue an updated quotation.

  • No order will be shipped without your approval of the final delivery charge.
  • If you do not approve the updated amount, the order will be cancelled, and you will receive a full refund.

4. Responsibility for Delivery Address Accuracy

It is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of your shipping address when placing an order. Please double-check all details before confirming.

Rampietify will not be liable for any delays, losses, or costs that arise from incorrect or incomplete delivery information provided by the customer.

5. Risk and Ownership of Goods

Once the parcel is collected by the assigned courier or delivery service, the risk of loss or damage passes to you, the customer.

Ownership of the goods remains with Rampietify until full payment—including all related charges—has been received.

6. Insurance Cover for Deliveries

Rampietify provides complimentary insurance coverage for deliveries up to a value of R1000.00.

If your order exceeds this amount or if you wish to insure the full value, please indicate this in the order comments. Additional insurance will be quoted and charged separately upon request.

7. Pre-Order & Imported Items

Items marked as “Pre-Order” are specially sourced and ordered only after full payment is received. Delivery timelines for pre-orders may differ, and you will be updated accordingly.

8. Same-Day Shipping – Gauteng, South Africa

Certain in-stock items qualify for Same-Day Shipping in Gauteng. This means we aim to dispatch your order within 24 hours of receiving payment in our account.

Please note:

  • Same-day dispatch is subject to stock availability and order volume.
  • Courier delivery times vary based on your location, selected freight option, and parcel size.

9. International Shipping, Customs & Duties

For international customers:

  • It is your responsibility to ensure that the items you purchase are legally permitted in your country.
  • Import taxes, customs duties, and additional fees may be levied by your country’s customs authority, and these are not covered by Rampietify.
  • Please consult your local customs office for guidance on applicable charges before placing your order.

10. Collection Points and Pick-Up Options

Local collection is available at our main warehouse in Pretoria, Sunnyside (by arrangement).

International collection points are not yet available, but we will always offer the best available door-to-door courier service for cross-border deliveries until global pickup options are introduced.
